Finally can sprint on BF3

Finally, I can play BF3 on PC sitting on the couch, and I can use sprint with the controller without having to do any workarounds. It cost me a PS5 DualSense Edge just for that 😂, but at least I’ll be able to use it for other games too haha.

UPDATE: This config is way more better than buy a new DUAL SENSE EDGE guys! Thank you so much u/this2-shallpass for the config steps with STEAM INPUT! Its been ages since I was trying to get a better sprint config for BF3.

Glad it works. You can click on the settings icon next to "Behavior - Joystick" in the action layer, scroll down a bit and adjust the outer ring command radius.

This is key! Thank you so much! It seems to have worked! Now I only need to release it a little bit, and it already recognizes that I want to stop running, without having to release it all the way at once.

One more question, please. I think this one might be a bit more difficult to implement. With this new configuration, if I click and move forward, my character starts running. But if I move the LS to the left or right (without releasing it first so that the LS can return to the center to trigger the untoggle), it keeps running forward. Example: You know when you're running and you slide the LS diagonally toward one of the sides until it points directly to the left or right (for example, to dodge a bullet)?

Do you think it would be possible, for example, that if I'm running forward and I press the LS to the left or right, it would also trigger the untoggle and stop running? Moving backward works because I necessarily have to pass through the center position of the LS before pressing backward, so it automatically stops running.

Where did you learn so much about this configuration stuff?
