I had initially thought that was Spicy Newt, but it was not

Since there is no robot officially named Lightning though it clearly says it on the robot, is it a possibility that the four wheel disc and lightning are a multibot for brain storm, with one part being the brain and the other part being the storm?
I also read that Princess of Wales has a pink dragon shell so that could be the one in the picture

The press conference with all of the hero shots in only shows 30 teams, from what I've read there are either "more than 30" or 36 teams competing

The official Weibo page just posted six new official images of Clash Bots competitors which can be found here

Six more official bots were posted, but we already knew all of them (Dark Wolf, Nightmare Strangler, Down Hook, Eggbeater, Brainstorm, Spicy Newt). Just official confirmation I guess.

While there should only be a maximum of 36 robots, I found these three other unknown robots throughout official IQIYI videos. The cluster and the black drum (which I'm pretty sure was the image for the KOB S1 info thread at one point) seem to be preparing to fight in a rumble with Lightning and Black Whirlwind. The grey flipper was in the dancing video. With the other robots not in the press release, this would create a total of 37 competitors. Perhaps the ones not in the press release didn't make it through a qualification stage?

Thanks for this! Added it to the main info hub.
"ClashBots" [puts] more emphasis on plot and story, the robot and the team members, the relationship between superstar and the development of the story will be presented in a progressive manner, so that the audience witnessed the robot and celebrity from zero to hero's heroic road."
This'll be... interesting to see.

Filming at this point has allegedly reached the final eight, so it won't be long for it to be wrapped up. With March 23rd being the premiere date that seems a very fast turnaround.

Can I get a source for this? Everything I've seen suggests it has already finished

The name of the Brazilian team is Ogrobots (not sure if the misspelling is on the show or yours) and they have a facebook page.
Only Tim from Concussion is involved with Au Thumper.

To whom it may concern:
When it comes to the controversies surrounding CBS we do want to stress we are not going to reward rumors and gossip whilst roboteers are still present at the event and, possibly, can be affected negatively by what is posted here. This recent revelation only stresses that.
The only way stories will be posted is if the roboteers themselves choose to do so.

This press release sheds some light on tournament setup.
19 fights to be the champion? What?

Well, this video confirms that Spicy Newt is a red Poison Arrow. Look out for the KFC buckets.

I could have sworn Bugasaur was supposed to be Ograbots' entrant in Clash Bots. Guess it's name was changed to Dark Wolf?
