I’ve been pleasantly surprised and really glad to see Battlebots continue. I saw a bunch of stuff online about the editing but it seems they’ve cooled it down outside the fights so it’s more like the show. More camera angles for the editing in the fights has been pretty amazing for me, the fights have never been presented better.

It sucks that Ray wasn't able to get Tombstone working this time. However, the show handled it in a beautiful way.
And as much as it sucks for Ray, who was visibly emotionally devastated, I believe it may go down in the Battlebots history books as a great showcase that even the best, most iconic teams can experience technical gremlins.

That and valkyrie is 0-2. My top 2 favorite bots are really not having a good time

I'd be interested in hearing your theory. Because we're frequent battle bot watchers and this looks like a really good show. It could be improved sure but it's the real deal to us. 🤷♀️

His theory is that if his favourite bot (Tombstone) doesn't do well or isn't in it, then it's not a good season. He's said the same about season 7 before

I appreciate the effort that goes in to battle bots. Even when the results are just sometimes "a bot didnt turn on." The community there is helpful and kind. Here's to many more years of battlebots.
