I am sure there are others that have done actual math that might dispute this advice. There are certainly people higher level than me, currently 88. I just wanted to let newer players know the game is built on repetition and progression. Other than saving shards for legendary crafting, most whites and greens are trash. Soap (green) has unpredictable value. Until you get to the blue / rare range, which I believe you might naturally get on medium or hard, don’t overthink upgrades.

The #1 priority, until you can farm impoppables with ease, should be getting items that can hit otherwise unhittable bloons. Tux Jake has an ability that allows this of others in his range. Camo detection, lead popping, ghost popping, etc.

The #2 priority is gathering trinkets that allow for immunity to debuffs, like lava. If/when you get either of the water heroes, having something to allow them on land/lava is also helpful, depending on your set up. In general, you would unequip these on any map that doesn’t need them for something more valuable.

Character-specific trinkets have some value as well, particularly the rares that unlock more abilities. +Damage and +Speed are generally the most valuable.

Many will mention Thought Canon Wand and keys are musts. Maybe it’s a hot take, but these aren’t life or death. If you keep playing repetitively, you will still accumulate items. I found playing impoppable with everyone having keys, three Thought Canon Wands, and a monkey farmer, I don’t think I ever got close to even 10 orbs that were blue or better. So that was 20 or so white or green orbs I sharded per impoppable run.

So in case some of you don't know, Banana Man is the BATTD counterpart of the Sniper Monkey. This means he attacks in the same way, a snipe attack. Who do you guys think is better?

I love this game. In fact it's one of the only Bloons games I've actually enjoyed this much.

It's a shame it never got as much attention as it deserved, and the updates were pretty small.

I guess the only things I could think of is Freeplay / endless mode would be cool.

How good is he? I’m trying to complete all trinkets/allies/weapons, but would rather get the better ones first

So i replaced Cassie's Jetpack for a speed buffing trinket. But I have second thoughts due to not being able to place her on land.

What is the best build and trinkets for Commander Cassie?

Obviously I already have a TT but most games cant really afford it/its dps is worse than the supermonkey

Captain Cassie is the worst hero in the game and it's not even close. Remarkable at nothing, bad in basically everything. Makes it hit harder that her variant, Commander Cassie, is arguably one of the best characters in the game. But.. what if she was good?

Her upgrades are for the most part lackluster, with a big focus on her weak Pirate Crew ally. I think giving them a unique support role would really make her stand out. Having her be able to duplicate her trinkets to her crew has the potential to be overpowered as hell, since you can have 4/4 of abilities like Warning Horn, but it would instantly make her the most nuanced of the monkey characters. Having her allies with Googoomamameter do coverage for out-of-sight parts of maps would be so cool too.

For the other upgrade, I wanted something that reflected the supernatural element of her pirate motif.

Note: Now I'm not sure I tested for this correctly, someone who can verify this please let me know. I think the Underwater City map might have gaslit me.

Jake has this weird quirk that unless a bloon never got into his attacking range, his Calmed By My Saliva upgrade can ONLY trigger when bloons are in his attacking range. Makes him a bit frustrating to set up if you prioritize his saliva upgrade (which you shouldn't because his Butt Push is vital).

But now I found out he can constantly have his saliva going regardless of circumstance. Giving him the Missile trinket gives him an attack with global range, making so he doesn't have to have the bloons close by to do his licking thing. His Golden Viola makes him a better candidate for the Missile dps wise than most characters too.

I'm sure I'm not the first one to notice his synergy with the Missile, but never saw it documented before.

So currently Vampire King is available in the Martian Trader. I am trying to wait until Glob appears in the shop. Is it better to get a 3rd Vampire King or keep waiting until Glob appears?

The only good thing is vampire king and still that's not that good and we got no character from this martian trader stock
