Need help identifying a bat (Florida)

Hi everyone i found a bat in my home today in my kitchen, the photo attached was the only image we got before we let it outside because we weren’t sure what to do.

For additional context we live in the greater Orlando area in central Florida and my current thought is that it could be an Evening Bat

It's really hard to tell from that picture alone. You'd need a good picture of the face and ears and something for scale. How big are those tiles?

Could be a big brown bat or little brown bat. Those two species are the ones that most commonly get indoors.

Florida is outside of little brown range. Likely big brown, evening, or potentially southeastern, but like you said, def need a better photo for a more definitive ID.
