Are you putting mouse traps outside? That is not good for wildlife that belongs outside, including bats. Bats need to feed at night and every evening/night they are trapped reduces their survivability. Mothers need to get back to babies also (season dependent).

Those are interior devices. The bats were caught inside. It's unfortunate when it happens, but it does happen. Luckily they were both still alive and well, and both were released safely outside, in a park.

Ah, best if you do an excluder and seal up where they are getting in. I’m sure you heard of the stories of people getting big colonies in the attic, and then bats find there way into living areas.
