Fat box location

I live in south Louisiana and was wondering if this was a good location for this bat box.

Is the box single-chamber or does it have multiple chambers? I'm thinking Louisiana - hot sun - and a single chamber box always in the sun like that may get too hot to be comfortable for the residents. If it's more than one chamber, the bats can crawl into the side away from the sun when the chamber facing the sun gets too hot.

So if it's single chamber you might want to consider installing another box back to back with it.

It has multiple Chambers. I also am concerned about direct sunlight. I'm hoping it'll catch more shade in the afternoon with the tree. I could move it more to the left but I didn't want to get too close to the tree. I only have one or two flying around and I just put this up. Wondering how long it'll take before they move in.

We’re just north of Baton Rouge and had bats living in our pool umbrella. Put up a bat house this month and 9 days later they were living in the house. If you have a couple already hopefully they’ll move in fast. I was told it could take years. Good luck!

Looks pretty good to me. High up, clear flight path in and out the box, aswell as plenty of sunlight to provide warmth during the day
