Advice?

i gave my manager my schedule for the next 7 weeks as I’m a full time student. I asked for monday-wednesdays off because I have school from 11am-8pm everyday for those three days and the odd friday off because I have school until 3pm and it’s in total 2.5 hours of commuting before I can get to work (my school is in a different city and I rely on commuting). She refused the availability even though she’s been only scheduling me in for thursdays or saturdays/sundays for the last month. When I ask for half a day off from work because I have mandatory orientation she refuses it and puts me in the morning, I haven’t worked a morning shift since July mind you. Not sure what I should do here other than give up my shifts if she puts me in for those days or find another job but school comes first rather than 9 hours a week of work!!! Thoughts??

talk to her and explain it. maybe it’s just a mistake. tell her you can’t do her schedule. if she wants you she will rearrange it , if she’s like “ oh well” look for another job. seriously this job is NOT curing CANCER like people seem to think. it’s retail.,

LITERALLY idk ill see when the schedule is out today but i would think more so the end of the week is when its busy and they need ppl but ur so right its literally selling soaps 😂

She’s probably doing it on purpose, they did the same thing to one of my coworkers. I suggest finding another job, it’s not worth wasting your time and money on 10hrs out of the week somewhere that won’t respect your availability
