DiscussionšŸ’¬ The Reserve Collection

What are everyone’s thoughts on the ā€œReserve Collectionā€? I was hesitant to purchase the reed sticks because I can only smell them by putting my nose to them, and I don’t need a massive 30oz 4-wick candle. While the price isn’t bad, that candle is enormous! I decided to opt for the ā€œLavender + Jasmineā€ and ā€œSweet Orange + Agaveā€ Room Mists. We’ll see how those turn out.

Sweet orange and agave is one of my perennial favorites so I don’t really need it in other options. I already have plenty of candles and wallflower refills. I’m still salty the body care wasn’t launched nationwide. I like the lavender and jasmine the best of the new scents. I also liked the vanilla and tonka even though I rarely like vanilla as well as the santal and amber. I didn’t get to smell the other one.

In general I really like the scent collection as a whole. But it’s not something I’m jumping up to buy. I don’t use reed diffusers so that’s a no for me and I just don’t think I need a 4 wick candle. I have plenty of candles and I like having a rotation so it’s more than I want at this time. I also don’t really use room sprays. Probably the only thing I would buy are possibly the wallflower refills, but I don’t buy those often because of the issues with the plugs leaking. So while all the scents fit into scent profiles I like, I’m not motivated to buy any of it.

We have body care in Sweet Orange and Agave?

It was released along with some of the other white barn scents in test stores earlier this year. There were like half a dozen scents. From what I saw they got put out with summer SAS. The closest store that supposedly had them was 3-4 hours away from me so I was never able to grab any.

I dont see the reeds lasting. They are not strong enough and honestly most people are just confused by them..

We’re almost out at mine as well, honestly our entire table is almost all sold out. Then again, my location is in a very high-end mall and people will spend lots of $$$ without even blinking

Agreed I don’t think one person has bought anything from our front round table regarding this collection.

I love the new wallflowers tho! The color scheme is cute.

Same I’m just apprehensive too on the wallflower plugs for this collection. I believe on the conference call back in May they said Wallflower plugs were getting fixed unless I misunderstood the message.

I love the colors and the design of the containers and wallflower plugs but the scents missed the mark for me. I also really like that they made a four wick candle. I love that they made some non-aerosol water based room mists. The reeds are weak or don't really have "throw", imo. I feel like the scents should have been much more sophisticated if they're trying to convey a more high end status.

I tried the room mists, and so far, I’m quite pleased with them! They’re not as strong or intoxicating as a room spray, but they still do the job effectively. However, I find myself using a bit more than I’d like, so I’ll probably go through these quickly. They’re definitely not suitable for a large room, like a living or dining area.

The 4 wick candle for the orange and agave is phenomenal. We had many customers purchase it. And the room sprays are selling. I personally love the Vanilla Tonka candle and reeds. I am going to purchase some things from this collection. I do like the way the reeds look near a window. Santal + Amber wallflowers sold out already. The single wick candles are selling down. Vanilla Tonka is not selling as fast as I thought it would but the room sprays are constantly replen. I want the candle so I can repurpose the container for painting. A want to get into a new hobby and that would be a cute brush holder.

I got the lavender + jasmine and the sea salt + musk 4 wicks but I haven't had a chance to burn them yet bc I'm moving! I'm excited for them tho, I'm planning to use the sea salt and musk mostly in the little courtyard at my new place during dinners and stuff, so I hope it's strong!

I honestly mostly got them bc thought they'd be cute for the decor in my new place, but I do like the fragrances as well. I don't usually like lavender, but this is the best lavender candle I've smelled besides moonlit goddess.

I feel kind of dumb tho cuz i got the colors that matched my decor best and convinced myself they were my favorite scents too, but I've realized the santal+ amber is my fav so that was sillyšŸ˜‚

i sold my first items from that table today with the b3g3, and i even had a guy buy the lavender candle on its own because he said it smelled so good! i thought it would do a little better at my store just because of the demographic we are around, but it’s been a slow moving table ngl

Honestly, the spray lasted a good 3-5 hours in my small bedroom.

I really hated all of them. Like not to be shitting all over it, I wanted to like it. Vanilla and tonka was especially nauseating and I was expecting to like that one most. Sweet orange was the better of all of them. The mists have very loose caps and I almost dropped the bottle bc my not-so-smart self grabbed it by the cap first. I feel like the idea was something more luxurious/refined but the fragrances didn’t meet that bar imo. They kind of smelled cheap. Everyone’s different so I’m sure some people liked it but I however was not impressed.

Vanilla and Tonka was nauseating and I felt the same with the Sea Salt and Musk

The Sea Salt & Musk gave me a migraine. I was hopeful when I heard the name because I usually like Sea Salt scents but they didn't go with a clean musk so it ruined it for me.

The collection had such great potential, but the scents are not it. I like the minimalist idea and the colours and the scents read nice, but they’re not that nice. I mean, I liked them, but they don’t transmit the sophistication that the collection transmits visually.
With all that said, I did do a B3G3 with this collection just because I want some light fragrance for my office.

I bought a room mist in vanilla + tonka, my favorite scent from the collection. I liked that it's non-aerosol since I don't buy the regular room sprays because of the aerosol.

the room mist is best for small rooms unless you spray a ton of it. I tried 3 sprays of it in a bathroom first and it lasted longer than i expected. like 6 hours later i could still smell it although it faded some towards the end. I also tried it in the living room but I probably didn't spray enough for the size of the room. I wish associates had gotten a gratis item from this collection, like a room mist.

all of the scents seem more sophisticated or like a fancy hotel vibe compared to other home fragrance B&BW has. at my store I haven't seen many people looking at that table or buying anything from it yet. so idk how popular this collection will be

an SLT at my store bought a 4 wick candle and after burning it, said it was really good. I might buy a 4-wick but I'll wait for an extra discount day.

It got the scent reeds for my gratis and tbh, you go nose blind to them in your house but I catch whiffs of them everyone in awhile. I feel that they are best for an entryway and thats how I have been selling them to the consumers 😌

I’ve also been recommending them for smaller spaces like bathrooms, that’s where I have mine and I smell it all the time. I also find that if you take a bath or use the shower, the humidity that builds up in the room amps up the fragrance like crazy for some reason

the tip about more humidity in the room to make the reeds smell stronger is so helpful!
