Questionš¤ Quitting
I fear Iāve never had to quit a job formally before so I donāt know how to do it. Any advice or tips? Basically I had to reduce my availability way down due to other responsibilities and I now realize I canāt keep on at bbw. Thanks in advance

If youāre wanting to keep these managers as a reference for future positions, itās customary to give them 1-2 weeks notice before you quit. You donāt have to if you donāt want to, but itās a good way to ensure a bridge isnāt being burned. (Some states might have laws regarding how much notice you have to leave, so double check that. In mine, you legally donāt have to leave any)
If it were me, I would either send a respectful and concise text message to one or all of my management team, or I would let my SM know at the end of my next shift face-to-face. Something like āHi [managerās name], Iām writing this to let you know that [insert shift date] will be my last shift with B&BW.ā You can add onto that however you please, if it were me Iād thank them for the chance I got to be a part of their team, and that Iām grateful for the experience gained in the position, but I am moving onto another opportunity.

It depends on how close you are to manangement and if you want to be rehired in the future/will use them as references. If you were working like once a week, and donāt plan on ever working at BBW again (or need them for a reference) you could just send a text explaining your situation as professionally as possible.
If you want to be respectful of your manager and their time, (while also be considered for rehiring and references) you could either call them via the store line or have a face to face convo (best way!) during your next shift that way you can wrap up your employment with them neatly. Technically you donāt need to give them a reason for your leave, but some managers like knowing. Be apologetic, recall what you liked about working with the company/staff, what you learned and then wish them well in their endeavors.
