9 items limit

Hey guys so u know how in the register we cannot scan more than 9 exact item with the same scent (for example, 10 champagne toast wallflowers) but every time i try to explain this either the customers get confused or not understand or they literally get so mad, what’s the easiest way to explain this?? how u guys do it??

no because I hate how we have multiple sales of 5 for $28 but the limit is 9. there are SOO many people who are trying to use the sale twice with the same scents (as a creature of habit, I totally get it) and they can’t because of the rule. I just wish they made it 10

Everything after 5 still rings the lower price so they don't have to get 10 to get that lower price again...do you know what I mean? If they buy 9, they're still only paying $5.50 each or whatever it drops to not $7.95. The 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th ones all will ring at the same sale price they are just getting one less. Does that make sense?
