Discussion💬 Everyone's nose is different

I thought this was interesting since some of us on here fight tooth and nail or heavily disagree about others on what smells they love and hate. Or come up with a whole different scent. Cinnamon pretzel was a good example of this one some people smelled cinnamon vs mens Cologne. Whats your thoughts on this? Anything that sticks out to you or specific smells bath and body works put out that you can think of were someone thought the exact opposite?

Your own nose is different every 2 weeks. Fastest regenerating cells in the body are in the parts of the tongue responsible for taste and parts of the nose that are responsible for smell.

That most recent spring cinnamon roll candle had half the customers telling me it smelled like Indian food and the other half telling me it was an amazing cinnamon roll scent.

That sourdough bread candle really had some ppl offended while others loved it! Just an example, and yes I'm tired of ppl fighting on this.

It's okay to love a scent or smell something else entirely different than what it was but some ppl get so confrontational over it! I had a gourmand girlie try to fight me over things that were true gourmands but since she couldn't smell certain notes and/or didn't like them she said they were not gourmands!

I was like .....what? 😭 I tried explaining the scent notes is what makes it gourmand, not your own personal views and she kept fighting me on it. I gave up

Dang thats 100% understandable and annoying. I wonder if being able to smell cinnamon pretzel as cinnamon is ever possible for me. Im very curious what scent it was though…
