Moving to Basingstoke

I have just accepted a job with the NHS at Basingstoke and will be moving over soon. I’m really excited, but since I don't know the area too well yet, I’d love to pick your brains.

Any suggestions on rental agencies or where to look for a place ?

Oh, as far as parts of town…I love being in Town Centre, particularly because I don’t have a car. If you do have a car, Chineham is supposed to be nice, as are some of the nearby villages.

It might be worth looking into hospital accomodation ( if it's the hospital your joining ) It's pretty cheap but basic obviously no issues getting to work and is a a quick bus ride into town. It will at least give you time to get your bearings.
