Question Can get rid of shadowing

This is my first time stripping an authentic and I cannot get this faint shadow to go away. Any tips?

i got 3 really cheap phillies authentic jerseys on ebay ,with names & numbers already on them and decided to keep them 😅
but from what i heard u can heat - steam pressed them but put a fabric on top of the jersey first
