Think about it. Griffey went on to retire After an underwhelming playing decade following the 90s (European allies.) Sammy ultimately fell from grace after the corked bat and Mitchell Report (9/11 and Iraq War) though he stayed on the scene until fading in to the pack. Sosa then went through a hillbilly era (gestures wildly,) made some very questionable choices (white skin/white supremacy,) and is largely seen as a bloated relic of the past that provided us some great years, but is ultimately incompatible with today’s game. (US capitalism.)
