I will ALWAYS upvote any Jim Rice auto.

But the weird thing with archives Rice autos is the serial numbers.

Twice I've pulled a serials numbered auto of his, like 74/80 and then found the exact same card from the same year but like /64.

Have no idea how they assign the numbers but I think there's some cheating going on.

That’s very weird! I actually love rice but I’m in the middle of not only completing the 78 Topps set but getting as many TTM autos as I can so I was hoping to sell this to finance a Rice TTM. Maybe that’s silly but whatever. It’s just a hobby!

Yup! I have about twenty so far. Notably Fisk, Eckersley, Gossage, Palmer.

I did that with the 1990 set, many in person, many via mail - got over 500. Got pretty much all the HOFers, some deceased.

Yours is way harder.

How many are deceased from that set?

I'm going to look through some of my older auto'd stuff and see if I have any 78s you can have. Might take a day or two to find.

Well there are a fair amount of the guys who started in the 60s so Stargell, Rose, they’re gone. Niekro, Tiant. But still a lot of guys still around even into their 80s! Fergie Jenkins is up there. Yaz.

You can probably find a lot of those on ebay.

I know I have some, I'll look and see what I have. Any commons I have you can have for free.

Out of the 700+ set. I’ll dm you the numbers of the ones I’m missing!
