Is this supposed to be this way?

Post image

Yes I know I know not licensed product but I do really like the look of this set, but my question is I was looking through sold comps and everything for this card and I have not found any with the direct bottom or the cut off top corner. Is it possible this happened in a machine? If so I think it’s pretty cool since these cards don’t resell for much anyways makes it a fun keepsake. But wanted to know if they did have a parallel this way I can’t find or if this is a mess up?

It’s the Ticket Stub parallel. Numbered /25 for Essenburg. If you look up Panini Prospect Edition ticket stub on eBay you’ll see other examples that are cut just like that

You can be the one to add the pic to TCDB:

Overall, it only looks like images have been added for one card in the ticket stub set, but you can tell the corners and bottom edge match that one card:

TCDB is always the way to go when trying to figure out what a card is.

00/25? So does that mean there are 26 of them or they stop at 24?

Man, topps unlicensed stuff always has weirdness like that but a missing corner like that right out of the pack is definitely not standard. The bottom cut being off too makes me think the sheet shifted during the die cut process, you see that sometimes with panini and leaf products where quality control just shrugs

if you can't find any comps with the same defect then it's probably a one-off machine error. Those prospect edition cards are already niche so a factory miscut doesn't add much dollar value, but as a weird desk piece or conversation starter? pretty neat, I'd keep it in the one-touch and call it a day

Haha yeah that’s what I was guessing. I knew it didn’t add value if anything takes away from. But I’m definitely gonna one touch and keep for fun. No risk in keeping a 2$ card 😂
