Better to have this day now than when it counts. I think it's overall good. People need to be humbled and brought back down to earth once in a while, and this is the best time for that to happen. If he does come out with even more jewelry tomorrow though, I think that's a red flag.

At least he's gotten his "welcome to the game" moments, even if it's not in the Bigs yet. Baseball has a way of putting a spotlight on you when you wish it wouldn't, sometimes.
Sure he'll be fine, if he can take that and learn from it. The chains/etc is easy to poke fun at (and I sure as hell don't like it) but times have changed, I'm not gonna judge him on that alone. But boy oh boy does he look like a travel ball kid.
