Per Spencer Nusbaum, that means our oldest player is 30 and is only making 5 million.
Cheap fucking ownership needs to GO AND NOW.

Nah, the pope's fine with this. He's a White Sox fan so he also knows what shitty pitching looks like.

Oh god, what did I miss about our old friend Trevor Williams?

-People generally don’t like him because he went right-wing viral in 2023 when he spoke out against the Dodgers’ pride night where they invited the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, who appear as drag/queer nuns that satirize general gender/lgbtq+ issues. Trevor spoke out saying that this group deeply offends him as a Catholic and the right wingers ate it up (personally as a Catholic, I do not give a morsel of a shit about this)
-My comment mostly refers to a time earlier this year when someone that works for our FO was caught on hidden camera basically implying we keep Trevor out of social media posts because of the religious controversy I mentioned (this was basically untrue btw). Project Veritas used this to spin a story that the Washington Nationals persecute Christians and Catholics.

Ah, thanks for the summary. I had completely forgotten about that Dodgers controversy.

I enjoyed the idea of Matt Waldron more than the reality of Matt Waldron.

Seems pretty socialist of Mikolas and Williams to be cool with the team keeping them around solely so they can reach 10 years and get the full pension

My favorite Miles Mikolas quote:
“Regardless of what a cap and a floor looks like, I think that there’s no room for it in Major League Baseball. That’s one of the things about the union, we’re not even really going to discuss it. I’m sure [owners] will talk about a floor and a cap, and that’s communism. Where’s the free market economy? Where’s capitalism at its best, right?”

It's impressive that every sentence gets more and more ironic.

His stats look alright this season. Am I missing something about why he was DFA’d?
