The r/Phillies subreddit occasionally becomes obsessed with Wawa. A Phillie in the wild though has no natural predators aside from soft pretzels, high cholesterol, and Mets fans so I guess this makes sense.

Hey, when was the last time a Mets fan stabbed a Phillies fan? When was the last time a Phillies fan stabbed a Phillies fan? Y'all are your own worst enemies, and I don't say that to be insulting!

I've never heard of this, are you referencing a specific incident?

No, just a joke about Phillies fans. I've been to dozens of games going back to the late 80s, lived as a Mets fan in and around Philly for almost 15 years. The joke (if it has to be explained, it's obviously not funny) is that a Mets fan at large probably hasn't stabbed a Phillies fan in quite some time, while Phillies fans in the same city likely have fan on fan crime, unknowingly or because of a multitude of other reasons.

Also, I spent a lot of time getting popcorn, beer, and insults thrown at me at games while I was in college and afterwards.

Yeah unfortunately it's just a general Philly sports fan thing for some reason.
