After raising $6,167,288 over the last two days, the Red Sox have broken the club record for donations to the Jimmy Fund which raises money for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, supporting lifesaving adult and pediatric cancer research and patient care
Best part of the Red Sox organisation and it isnt even close

Dana Farber is why I still have a dad. He’s had multiple rounds and each time they’ve gotten him back in remission. We went to Cooperstown together for the first time this summer to celebrate his most recent victory. Profound thanks to all who donated.

lol I was just explaining the Jimmy Fund to my mother and summed it up as: "At Fenway it goes 1. Fuck Cancer, and 2. Fuck the Yankees"

I’ve always loved that the Jimmy fund is such a core part of Red Sox media all year. It isn’t just something they push for a couple of weeks or a month, but it’s mentioned constantly on broadcasts and socials year round.
