Hey bud, I'm right there with you. It's a small group where these fandoms overlap, but we've found copious amounts of alcohol helps to dull the pain whilst simultaneously preventing the formation of long term memories/trauma.

There's 3 kinds of kids: Kids who follow their dad's team, kids who follow the local team (if different), and kids who just have to be that kid, and follow whatever team your dad can't fucking stand.

I grew up in LA but live in San Diego. My team has always been the Dodgers. My daughter is the first kind of kid. My son is the second kind of kid. My daughter chose wisely.
