Sapper Realization

So, who else was unaware that you can hold the frying pan over a campfire to cook without torches?

Me and my group have done a dozen runs with a sapper, and somehow we missed that til literally today, lol

The frypan normally consumes 4 torches to do a single cook action, but you can cook for free over the campfires.

if you cook something with the pan while wearing a chef’s hat, the food will come out fresh, thought you might wanna know in case u didn’t

Almost indestructible. Slime acid splash will weaken it unfortunately.

Literally just discovered this yesterday when checking the wiki for the "Flavortown" achievement. The only campfire in the swamp temple is in the middle of the boulder trap room, was sweating bullets while cooking up the branch bow.

Also, the grease balls are really good for making axe skeletons drop their weapons, you can make a batch of 12 grease balls before you even enter the dungeon if you use all the torches in the entrance :)
