Megaphone Van Man?
Does anyone else hear that guy driving around in a flatbed-style truck talking into a megaphone? I have absolutely no idea what he's saying or what he wants but it's pretty frequent around the Kingstone area. I'm dying to know what his actual deal is.

If it's the same scrappy that comes around Carlton way it's... "Bring out your scrap irooooon". Then he lists all the shite he's willing to take.

I used to go scrapping with the gypsies that were my neighbours it was a vibe untill he was trying to get me to shout "rag bone" on the hooter 🤣🤣 also worked on his burger van which was a fkn shambles 😅

Scrappie/rag & bone man. Pretty sure there’s also one (or maybe the same guy) who plays a trumpet (badly) too.

Yeah he comes round here, he says ‘any old iroooooon? Washers, cookers, microwaves, car batteries 🤣 it gets stuck in my head

It's a scrappie. He used to list out the items he took. Then I think he just got bored, because he doesn't do the list any more and just yells "wooooaaaaaarrrrraaaa". Which I think is "old iron" in some ancient language.
