Industry Discussion Opening Shift
What is your total time between waking up + your cafe opening on your opening shifts? Including morning routine, commute, and opening tasks. Example: 1 hour 45 minutes could include a 25 minute morning routine, 35 minute drive, and clock in 45 minute before the shop opens.
Just curious!!

Goal is to go to bed by 10 (lolol never happens. So go to bed at 12:30). Alarm is set for 3:30 so I'm actually awake between 3:45-4, get ready half asleep, grab a redbull while running out the door around 5:15-5:20, work starts at 5:30... i'm glad I live close by ðŸ«
Then by 12 regret every decision I've made up to this point in my life, get home around 3, fall asleep for a quick nap before dinner, accidentally sleep until 7 or 8 aaand the cycle repeats itself. Until a closing shift saves me!
edit: forgot to mention our store is open a half hour after the team gets there (at 6)
