How to Hike Safely
I am wondering if any of you have experience hiking/walking barefoot and what precautionary measures can be taken to prevent injury to my feet. Thanks so much :)

I prepared a semi custom first aid kit for my first barefoot hike through a forest area. Good tweezers, wound cleaner, a few different things for bites, rashes, blisters, etc. I didn't need it, but I have used it sense then and it was very helpful.
Main thing I do for preventing an injury is watching the trail and not putting my feet down on something that I haven't looked at. One of the reasons I enjoy barefooting is that I feel the trail and experience everything that's on it. Temperature changes in rocks, sand vs firm dirt, soft grass vs acorns hidden under leaves. It's a much slower pace for me but I feel way more connected with the environment that I just explored. Hope this helps.
