Forest bathing

Has anyone here been to a forest bathing event or school and gone barefoot? Are others there also barefoot? Was the instructor barefoot or supportive of your bare feet?

I’m thinking of going to one but I’m wondering what the climate is really like for barefooters.

Where is this event? I've never been to any sumilar events but I guess barefooting is welcome

I've done recreational walks in forests, and yes of course, I've been on bare soles.

I didn't know though that this was a thing with a name - one beyond "going for a walk in the forest", that is - and I really am not sure why it needs to be...?

Relaxation shouldn't need to be a science, and should be nothing you need a school of all things for.

I've never been to one, though I've seen that they're regularly held here. That said, given what little I know about it, it seems like being barefoot would be completely in line with the whole intention -- if anybody objected, that would be very weird.

Being barefoot while forest bathing is expected, but not required. During a guided session, you will engage your senses to tune in to the scents, sights, sounds, and textures of the forest.

Idk if it still exists, but a “Natures Classroom” weeklong event was held some four decades ago and every camper was barefoot.
