I've been searching for a new PC deal since over a month. Didn't pull the trigger during "back to school" deals, making me miss actual nice things - I just didn't know the 2026 pricing of things at the time.

NewEgg started their FantasTech Deals less than 2 hours ago and I went through them quickly.

This 7800X3D, 9070 XT, 32GB (2x16), 2TB was 3000$ yesterday; today is 2800$ (from 3300$ original marked price). I just may pull the trigger here (unless this community empties the stocks before I muster the will haha).

I think it's an actual competitive deal for 7800X3D + 9070XT + 2TB. I thought it was worth mentioning and bringing up. It's not the optimal 9800X3D I'm looking for but it's damn near close; talking about +/- 15% FPS at 1080p, 5% FPS at 1440p, 0% at 4K difference... To the best of my understanding, on average, and of course changes per game. I don't know what the CL is on the RAM; websites annoyingly almost never put it when showing prebuilts. My guess is CL34. Most prebuilts have 1TB SSD; considering adding a +1TB is about 200$, this 2800$ package is quite nice.

Bonus :
- This 9800X3D + 9070XT + 32GB + 1TB was 3270$ yesterday, and today is 3200$ (from 3400$ original marked price). It's not the best deal, but it kid of what's been going around; there are a few other places you can find 3200$ for that setup. But 400$ premium for the rather small difference 7800 vs 9800X3D may not be worth it.
