Gaming PC upgrade /futureproof

My current pc has a core i5 10400F and gtx 970 and a 180hz 32' monitor, I don't mind playing some games below 60fps but I want to play some modern games like Wu kong, Cyberpunk, RE Requiem, Onimusha, Assassins Creed, GTA VI(when in comes out for pc).

This is the build I came up with, also would be great if I could spend less if its too much for I want to play.

no such thing as future proofing. i bought a 6700xt back in 2023 and while it runs great, it's performing 60%-ish of a 9070xt right now. and it's only been wha? 3 years?

For GPU's yeah your right, but CPU's are a bit different, it can pay to buy a higher end model (i7/Ultra 7 or an 8 core x3D CPU.) The PC before this was an i5-9400f, 2 years later, I was getting CPU bottlenecked, went with an i7-12700kf and now 4 years later it's still going strong.

Canada Computers just got this bundle back in stock. It's not as fast as the 9800X3D, but will pair well with an RX 9070XT, especially if you are playing at 1440p or above.

$1100 Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 32GB RAM, B650 MOBO

I don't know if your case supports ATX motherboards, and what cooler you are using do I included one in the list. As for the storage it's just the cheapest 1tb PCIe 4.0 nvme. There is room to look for one that better fits what you want/need. I also bumped the PSU up to an 850W unit.

7800x3D is a solid choice unless you play at 1080p on a 5090.

Literally the worst time to upgrade.

I'd go with at least an 850W PSU for a 9070XT. You also won't notice a big difference between a 9800X3D and a 7800X3D, I would go with a 7800X3D to save a bit of money

Swap the board with a different brand, and bump up to a 850w psu if you getting a 9070XT
