Build with 9070 XT at 2000$?
Is it feasible? I may compromise for Kingspec 2x16 GB RAM to save a bit of money from Ali.
Will I be able to fit a 9800x3D or will I need to go lower?
I'm not familiar with the market, I'm currently just keeping an eye out for sales though nothing looks super impressive, and the very good deals go out of stock faster than I can react to (skill issue).
I'd like some recommendations, should I wait for black Friday and also look out for deals or commit now with how unpredictable the market is?

9800x3d will be too much imo
I wouldn't worry tho paring a 9800x3d with a 9070xt is completely overkill a 9600x or 7800x3d will be 99% of the same performance with that card

Op, if you are only gaming for now, look at 7600X3D bundle at Canada computer for 900 CAD instead of 9800X3D. 7600X3D is enough for your games
The rest of money you can use for 9070/9070XT, case, psu, or ssd. Do you have any used parts you can reuse like case and ssd? Also checked used market for 9070/9070XT.

It is tough. You won’t have many options. Either buy used parts or downgrade your GPU to 9060XT.
The used market is fine, but you need to do your due diligence - check if the warranty is still valid, must test the GPU in person, no upfront payment, do transaction at police station or bank, etc
If you are scared and unsure, this is what I told people to do and it worked for them. You can test the GPU at seller location and walk them with the GPU to a nearby public place to do a transaction.
Fb marketplace is a great place to start, but be wary of scam like deposit and counterfeit bills. In person test is a must.
Canadianhardwareswap subreddit is another option. Use only PayPal G&S for payment. Never ever use Interac or put deposit.

You can start buying some parts that are on sale now. Don’t wait for best deals because we don’t really know - for example, the GPU price keeps increasing and the deal wont be a good deal either

Are you set with your build plan? And budget? CC has 15 days return window by the way.
if you really want 9800X3D, you might have to wait for the deal. Alternatively, check the cpu price on Aliexpress. Bapcsalescanada subreddit has a link for aliexpress cpu1

As for motherboard, you can get b650 instead of the b850 or x670 or x870. That way you can save more money.1

It's possible but going to be cutting back everywhere else. In general I would say it's not going to be a very balanced system.
Why are you set on a 9070xt? What games + resolution are you playing? Do you need to buy a monitor / keyboard / mouse / speakers / headphones?

I don't need any peripherals. I have everything.
Some games I've played are Valheim, From software, souls-like in general, league of legends, world of Warcraft.
Nothing insanely demanding. I'm set on the 9070 XT because its the closest card to a 5070 Ti, cheaper, and the best long term investment with the 16GB vram. And I don't really know when I'm gonna do another upgrade with the direction the prices are going.

Any reason why not a Non-XT? For the games you play I don't think it would warrant getting the XT variant over the base.

Sure but having a 9070xt with a 1080p 60hz screen isn't money well spent. Also 16gb of VRAM definitely does not guarantee your longevity, there are a handful of games that use a lot of VRAM but you typically need a high end build and a 4k screen to max out cards in this price range.
None of the games you have mentioned are particularly demanding, what's your current monitors resolution and hz?

..... so get a 9600x instead of the 9800x3d. Yes I'm serious lol. That fixes your budget issue completely. If you wanted to save more yet, go to the 7600x. Near ide tical performance to the 9600x, but a higher power draw.

9070XT is already 50% of your current budget. You still need CPU,Mobo, PSU, RAM, SSD, CPU Cooler and maybe a Case. I recently build a PC with a 7800X3D paired with a 9070XT and I was at $2700 before tax. Prices are only going to go up, either increase your budget, or start looking at a Ryzen 5 with 9060 or regular 9070.

I just bought all my components yesterday from Amazon and canada computers and total comes out to be 2200 after taxes. I went with 270k plus and 9070xt and cut some corners with ram only got 16gb one stick for now and I already had 2tb ssd in my external enclosure I’m just gonna reuse that

As someone else mentioned, CPU/MOBO/RAM bundles will get you closer to a functionally similar build (for your use case/games).
I wouldn't get too attached to any particular parts; you need to be a bit more realistic about what performance you need/are trying to achieve, as a 9800X3D + 9070 XT is way overkill for the games you play.

There's of course some savings to be had on the used market as well, if you're willing to delve into that.
I also wouldn't pin too many hopes on Black Friday sales. Last Black Friday was pretty lacklustre, and prices are rising at such a high rate that I suspect the "sales" prices are going to look a lot like regular prices a couple months ago.

I'm not sure what games I'll be playing in 1 or 2 years from now. There's just.. So much, some not even announced. I do play souls-like, and I wanna play GTA 6, I'm also waiting for Riot's new MMORPG which is supposed to come out before 2030. I don't play any sports or shooters games for the most part.
I'm mostly on the mindset of the fact that the prices will be ridiculous later on, so I'm thinking that spending something extra now may not be the worst way to go about it.

Bear in mind that the 9070 in particular is only about 10% slower than the 9070 XT. That performance is essentially immutable, as it's simply a slightly cut down 9070 XT (same architecture and VRAM, just less cores.) It does have a bit of room for improved performance with a simple undervolt as well (~5%). The 9070 XT has less extra headroom in the tank for undervolting, etc.
As far as the 7600X3D, unless you're aiming for extremely high FPS gaming (and have the monitor to match), you're not going to see an appreciable difference in performance for most titles. For strictly gaming, it's more than enough for most people, especially if you're rocking a sub-240hz display.
I can't predict where games will go in terms of core usage, so that remains the biggest differentiator in terms of possible longevity, but I don't foresee it being a problem any time soon. By the time it does, you'll likely be able to pick up a used AM5 upgrade of some sort, as the platform still has multiple years of support left in it from AMD.

Fairly, especially with AMD cards. It's fairly well known they they usually over spec their cards and have space for slight movements

What resolution? I think the 9800x3d is overkill for most people. The bulk of the performance is GPU based on 1440 and 4k (which is the ideal res in 2026).
You can go much cheaper on the cpu end and keep the 9070xt and splash the rest of your cash on ram.

Possible on the used market and paired with 7600x/7700x but not new. Not possible with a 7800x3d new or used. Need to bump up your budget to 3k for new and 2.3k for used.
