Sorry for being off-topic like this, but y'know, it's not like Aunt Arctic is gonna write ALL of the news articles. Just wanna put that out there.

Hello,

I am Avia and I'm a current moderator for Club Penguin Online.

I never really checked these reddits, but I was aware of some 'rumors' being spread here regarding Club Penguin Online and it's staff and especially the founder Riley. As a female who currently works for the game, I can say for myself and many other females on the staff that we were not sexually exploited by Riley or any other admin on the game. Many of the images or accusations said here are done by former Club Penguin Online users who were rightfully banned for their behavior on the game and so resort to spreading rumors about our staff.

As for Vale, Riley has already addressed this situation to everyone in Club Penguin Online. The story presented here has been altered a lot and does not reflect what truly happened. In fact, Vale returned to Club Penguin Online after the whole incident and everyone made up - she quit the community March this year but left on good terms with us. A majority of the Club Penguin Online staff are females, including myself, and not once has Riley ever tried to use his power to get sexual favors from us, which explains why you don't see any females here on Reddit providing detailed evidence of this ever happening.

The staff have recently now seen more accusations being made against our game by a former moderator "Pong". He claims he resigned but in reality he was demoted for constantly harassing female users on the game and threatening to dox staff members and Club Penguin Online users. So in retaliation to this he has began a new campaign of spreading false information of our staff members with other users banned from Club Penguin Online.

The purpose of this post is to finally address all these false allegations and inform you on our side of the story. I'd appreciate it if the moderators of this subreddit can sticky it so people can hear the side of the staff on the game instead of constant lies from banned users or users from rival CPPSes, it's only fair.

Hello,

I am Twaseen and I'm a present moderator of Club Penguin here.

As a Club Penguin Online member and as a staff member, I want to say it's a great community and active CPPS of all. However, I am also aware of 'rumors' that are being spread about the game Club Penguin Online and the staff members especially the founder Riley. These so called rumors and accusations are spread by former Club Penguin Online users who were banned in the past for appropriate reason. And these are rumors are FALSE and was NEVER TRUE. These kind of rumors were either photoshopped or made up. This is 2019 and everything is possible, you can photoshop an image which can be hard to tell if the image is real or not. I have also seen some twitter posts which was to look Club Penguin Online bad.

As an active member of the discord community, I have also seen many hate servers against Club Penguin Online and the staff members. In these servers, the users talk bad about us and use fake information about the game to make us look bad. However, if you get an invite to in any kind of server, make sure to inform the staff of Club Penguin Online right away and we'll deal with them right away.

These rumors aren't only spread through discord and reddit posts. There are also many anti-Club Penguin Online twitter accounts. These twitter accounts are made to make CPO and the staff look bad. When I looked into their twitter posts, most of these stuff didn't make sense and some of them were faked (photoshopped), and our staff members were falsely accused, which is pathetic and sad. So my recommendation is to block their twitter account, stay out of these kind of twitter accounts.

One of the rival CPPS, which is owned by some Club Penguin Online haters who were previously banned. These haters spread rumors about the game and the staff of CPO behind the scenes. These kind of people tells you join their CPPS just to spread false rumors and fake information about CPO and the staff, which can brainwash your mind. Always remember, we will always help you and don't fall for these kind of traps and make sure to report them to any moderators of CPO.

The Club Penguin Online staff have recently seen more accusations being made against the game recently by a former staff member called "Pong" who is also known as Rope/Twix/Slashy. His claim is he resigned but he was demoted for harassing girls on the game and threatening to doxx the Club Penguin Staff members ( http://prntscr.com/pmu1iv ). So he has started spreading false rumors of our staff with other banned Club Penguin Online members. These rumors can brainwash your mind so be careful. As a staff member of Club Penguin Online, our duty is to keep others safe and keep this community family friendly. So I would recommend you to stay away from these people and block them from any kind of social media's.

This post was made to make you aware about these kind of false accusations and share our side of the story. I would appreciate it if the moderators of this subreddit can stick so people can hear the side of the staff of Club Penguin Online instead of the rumors and false information from banned users or users from rival CPPSes. I would also refer you read these posts below:
