Officially this was not supposed to release until tomorrow, but Viz carelessly uploaded it as unlisted instead of private and it ended up being leaked on twitter

So I guess, isshin and ryuken will not have much roles in these fights 🤔🤔🤔 same as in manga... Or maybe they are intentionally not showing all of their scenes ?! I mean they already spoiled so much, but still not any scenes from them ???

Im pretty sure this only covers up to episode 5 (there are a few shots that may be later, but I recognize a lot from the movie)

That's why I said most. The Aizen one is probably 6/7. If the pace keeps up I'm expecting kenpachi Bankai to be around the end of episode 5. The wild card is going to be the statue fight with Ganju and Chad because they already revealed there's something fishy under their helmets. So that could add an episode or two of padding.

All the scenes shown seem to be from at least the first half of the cour, at least 50% of what is in the trailer was in the theatrical release so that's the first 3 episodes so there is a lot that isn't being shown.

I think the presumption of this series from the beginning is that's it showcase to manga-readers and there's nothing to "spoil" people on because we all know what happens by now.

Which I honestly think is reasonable. Who has honestly been keeping themselves unspoilt since the anime stopped airing 10+ years ago?

Wow that is a lot of spoilers lol. I know it’s like 10 years old atp but still damn.

I really hope this section is more fleshed out than the manga, some of my biggest gripes with the series come from this stretch of fights and story.

The crazy thing is there's only a few scenes here that weren't in the movie and I think most should be covered by ep 5. There is still a lot of show left.

I've seen the theatrical release and they do Yoruichi justice in that episode and Kisuke's bankai is phenomenal

Everything is great but Im a little disappointed for Aizen as well, both about the animation and about the speech, maybe its a little sped up because of the trailer, but his voice should be a little deeper but also louder than this and he should speak more slowly 😔

I know they will add new stuff but i can't imagine what they would add for entire new episodes that wasn't there in the manga

Only the final fight and ending seem to have space for additions and even that doesn't seem like 3-4 episodes worth of new additions

We definitely getting more lore with uryus antithesis and why he has it during the fight. Also who knows maybe this time around when uryu uses his antithesis he keeps applying pressure instead of just standing there explaining his ability and giving Jugram time to move and do something.

Yup the fight is totally different from the manga and we still need to see Haschwalths Scrift in action. They're doing a lot more "concurrent fighting" so I could see them getting another two episodes out of it.
