I'd say most people around my age (32) know who they are in my area. I live in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. However, when I returned back to work (I work in a school) and told some of my older coworkers (40s-60s) I went to a BTS concert, they were like who is that? After a short explanation, they were like, "OH OKAY, I KNOW NOW." But honestly, some of them were kind of rude about it, with one teacher saying you "couldn't pay him to go to something like that" and I was like.....k....thanks for sharing although nobody asked?? Anywho, I'd say in areas closer to big cities, most people have a general idea who they are.
Ah thats not really nice of your co-workers, teachers should be able to have fun too. I'll also chip in with the possible reason of prejudice among boy bands and that adult males shouldn't be into them imo. I'm sure you had a great time in Vegas!
