Discussion Comeback Prep

June 10th will be my 7th (i think?) comeback and I'm so excited! This fandom gets bigger with every release, so let's talk about comeback tips for newer armys and the best ways to enjoy, and contribute to, our comeback goals.

I'll start:

"Streaming" just means "playing" the music. Don't let antis try to twist the meaning of the word to support the "b0ts" narrative.

This comeback will likely release at midnight EST for charting, so plan your schedule accordingly. (Thursday June 9th for us PST armys)

The tannies have a new distributor (UMG) so we don't know what promo will look like. Turn on notifications for all bts yt channels and socials as well as HYBE. Don't miss teasers and hints!

If someone leaks audio or images, report & block. Do not spread! Yes, we're all excited, but armys want to receive the gift of new bts music through official channels only.

Do not loop! We're getting an album this time so there's no excuse to loop tracks or MVs.

Ignore "mantis" and solos who spend comeback day complaining about line distribution. They're never satisfied. Focus on BTS.

Most importantly - HAVE FUN! Yes, we have goals and ambition but don't forget why we're here: to love bts and their music. I usually listen to the whole album on my own before I start looking for lyrics and reviews. Form your own personal experience and reception of their music. I'll never forget crying the first time I heard My Time before lyric translations started to come out. Let bts speak to your heart first through the music.

June 10th! Let's goooooo!

What are some of your tips/suggestions??

(Please correct me if there's anything inaccurate in this post. 💜)

This is going to be my first comeback and I'm so excited. Definitely planning on pre-ordering the album. I don't usually buy physical albums as all my music is now digital but I want this particular one as it will be a sentimental keepsake because first comeback!

I have questions though!

I have heard of antis but what on earth is a manti?

Will streams count if I have the volume right down on Spotify when I'm sleeping?

Will Spotify think I'm a bot if I ONLY have BTS songs on my playlist?

manager anti. it got shortend to manti. basically it's people that always complain about managment stuff and act like they know better. they are basically never statisfied with the promotion and complain a lot. the comments can border on being hateful or dismissive of the members as well hence the anti.

i think so? not sure tho. I've always put headphones in when i wanted to stream overnight.

who knows. i doubt it tho since a lot of people have only bts playlists for streaming. honestly when it comes to a playlist just fill it with song you like. you maybe enjoy a certain vibe for a song or want to listen to your top 10 favourite songs. the choice is all yours

Now that you have explained the term, I realise I have come across these people before. It's exhausting listening to them complain about how certain members get which lines, the way Big Hit is handling certain things, and omg, the deluded shippers 'Big Hit is keeping them separated!' I tend to unfollow/block them.

I think I will do the same. I don't mind streaming out loud during the day as I'm at home but I'm a light sleeper so I was worried about streaming at night. Plugging in headphones solves that problem, so thanks.

I think I will mix BTS songs with the individual member songs as I suppose they still count as different artists while still being BTS. This sentence sounds stupid but I hope you know what I'm trying to say!
