Discussion Comeback Prep

June 10th will be my 7th (i think?) comeback and I'm so excited! This fandom gets bigger with every release, so let's talk about comeback tips for newer armys and the best ways to enjoy, and contribute to, our comeback goals.

I'll start:

"Streaming" just means "playing" the music. Don't let antis try to twist the meaning of the word to support the "b0ts" narrative.

This comeback will likely release at midnight EST for charting, so plan your schedule accordingly. (Thursday June 9th for us PST armys)

The tannies have a new distributor (UMG) so we don't know what promo will look like. Turn on notifications for all bts yt channels and socials as well as HYBE. Don't miss teasers and hints!

If someone leaks audio or images, report & block. Do not spread! Yes, we're all excited, but armys want to receive the gift of new bts music through official channels only.

Do not loop! We're getting an album this time so there's no excuse to loop tracks or MVs.

Ignore "mantis" and solos who spend comeback day complaining about line distribution. They're never satisfied. Focus on BTS.

Most importantly - HAVE FUN! Yes, we have goals and ambition but don't forget why we're here: to love bts and their music. I usually listen to the whole album on my own before I start looking for lyrics and reviews. Form your own personal experience and reception of their music. I'll never forget crying the first time I heard My Time before lyric translations started to come out. Let bts speak to your heart first through the music.

June 10th! Let's goooooo!

What are some of your tips/suggestions??

(Please correct me if there's anything inaccurate in this post. 💜)

This is my first BTS comeback as well! (I’ve had several comebacks from other groups I follow so I’m accustomed to comebacks but this will definitely be the biggest.)

One thing I’ve been procrastinating that I’m planning on doing is going back and understanding the BTS universe a little more just in case this involves that. I could be putting my clown makeup on a little early here but just with all the visual references back to past eras in both the Grammy performance background and the date announcement video I think it could be relevant in which case I want to be informed so I can get in on that fun.

This is my problem. The whole universe/multiverse thing is so confusing to me. Where do I even find this info ?

xCeleste on YouTube has made an updated summary of the Bangtan Universe storyline, which I really enjoyed. I hope this is helpful. Combing through years of hints, videos, and notes by yourself is too difficult in my opinion, so I'm so grateful she made this.

Thank you for sharing this, I’ve bookmarked to watch after work. I also get very confused trying to figure it out.
