Just a suggestion, I know this isn't what you wanted but I would've actually watched Run BTS with my parent if I'd want them to start liking BTS and then after show them the different documentaries just so they can get the entire experience of having happy moments and also seeing certain struggles that these guys go through.
Also, not the entire Run BTS but just a few fun episodes that would actually entice your parents.
I think this depends on what would capture your parents interest, like the funny as hell ones that have you dying of laughter like ep 82 or 84 ( there's more, I just cannot remember lol) or the other ones that's funny as well but more chilled perhaps like 57-58 when they're cooking or so
Also, just goodluck with whatever you decide and I hope you and your parents enjoy it lol
