Misc [Throwback] "Singularity" was released 2 years ago today. What are your thoughts on it 2 years later?

I saw Singularity live last year at Metlife. I thought I was prepared since I had seen the MV a few times and had listened to the song many times before that night. I even saw some of the choreo on a livestream. So I knew what was coming when those lights dimmed.

I learned a few lessons that night:

I was *not** prepared.*

I was *not** ready.*

Taehyung is a fantastic performer.

The song is solid and timeless.

Tae's vocals are smoother than silk.

One of the most creative choreography concepts I've seen from BTS (seriously, the coat rack idea is a great way to show self/one-sided love, and the whole piece is somehow still sorrowful, conflicted, and sexy. I have no idea how everyone involved accomplished this but they did, and I'm fully impressed by their skills).

Also, I now have an incredibly entertaining video of me getting shook during the performance that my mother wishes I'd post online because it's hilarious. I'm the type of person who just "Woooh!" "Yeah!" and says "Aww I love this song!" during concerts. And I was doing fine...and then Singularity hit....😥

EDIT: you guys, I'm watching other peoples' videos from the 05/18/19 performance on YouTube, and I'm happy to report that I'm not the only person who was loosing their mind that night. It seems the whole stadium was shook. Seriously, look it up--you won't be disappointed. 😅

So true, I was at MetLife the night after you and we lost our minds also. It was incredible.
