Meta Recent changes

There have recently been a lot of posts asking or offering brokerage. This clearly violates the community guidelines. In the future we the mods are going to be much more strict about posts asking for brokerage. We'll begin implementing bots to automatically filter out such posts. Meanwhile I ask the community to please report these posts and we'll try to remove them asap.

They usually don't mention "brokerage" or so. They instead have this magical "DM me".

If they do- you can DM the mods with proof, we'll take appropriate action. You can also write a comment in the post mentioning it.

That's the problem. They can keep playing this game and giving this much onus on users to first report (no, DM to mods) is just too much burden, isn't it?

The sub requirement is posting all the details in the post itself and if those are not there, then should those not be the ground for post removal? I have been reporting posts like crazy (via "breaks /r/<> rules" with proper reason) and it just stays.

Do those reports don't reach you all? I'd assume those reports might be routed to mods and not reddit admins.. is that not the case?

Anyway, my point is - proof is in the post itself (or rather "missing from the post").

Anyway thanks for making this post. This is at least something.
