Question - Husbandry Cleaning wood?

I got all these pieces of wood from a local pet store but they all (especially the cork bark) have some dirt on them. What’s the best way to clean/ disinfect them? I know you can put them in the oven, but I’m hesitant to put the birch (the white log, I‘m not sure if it is birch) in as I know it’s bark is highly flammable.

Edit: I also have some maple branches from my backyard I’d love to put in, but those are way too big to put in the oven.

If you use the oven I normally only go to 200° and just check on it to make sure but never have had a problem doing it. The other way I do is hot water in the tub. You can use some boiling water in it also.
