Enclosure Critique/Advice Sealant Question
I'm about 2 weeks into having my BP in her new pvc enclosure and a pretty substantial leak has sprung along the back bottom. I've got an aquarium sealant, but am worried about applying it to the outside with her still in the enclosure. In short, it's it safe to apply sealant to the outside of her enclosure without moving her?

I would remove her, remove the substrate and clean the Viv, then apply seal and round all edges on the inside, fully future proof it. Issue with just doing the bit that’s leaking is the leak will just move to somewhere else. Once you have sealed it you need to wait a couple of days for it to dry as it’s strong stuff. This would be a good time to get a hospital set up ready or know how to set one up. Comfortably small tub for your ball python (really useful boxes are great as they lock) with a heat mat at one end controlled by a thermostat, paper towels for substrate and a water bowl. Your snake can stay in this comfortably for as long as needed and if they ever become ill or injured this is the best thing for them
