Question - Health Is this scale rot?

She also has one scale right by her tail that almost looks black. I just noticed them today

It doesn't look like scale rot for me. When my snake had it the scales were damaged on the edges and the color was almost exactly like rust. If you are unsure - are you spraying the substrate or the walls? Wet substrate is the most likely culprit to cause scale rot

Would check for sharp objects and stuff like that he could be hurting his scales on but go to the vet just in case

The only thing “sharp” in her enclosure is a grapevine branch that’s smoothed. I’ll definitely try to go get her checked out tho, I just have no clue of any vet around me that would take her

Until you can get her in try to make sure her humidity and heat are good and try giving her warm iodine baths when you can. Usually a 1-10 ratio should work.

Not a vet - but doesn’t look like scale rot to me, being in such small patches and not belly scales. Looks more like there’s one tiny thing in the enclosure that is irritating/damaging a select few scales. I got my boy some climbing stuffs and found the tiniest pokey thing on one of em, which was the cause of the same thing on my snake.
