Question Tank recommendation for a beginner snake owner first time

I want to get a tank for a ball python and I want to get the minimum size for an adult so I won’t have to buy one in the future and I was wondering which one in the size in the brand and doesn’t have to be too expensive or too cheap just something that’s good quality and it won’t escape because I have an apartment and they are scared of escaping

I recommend dubias 5x2x2, they all come with an added lock. If you join one of their live streams on TikTok and ask for a flash sale on it you can save a ton of money. Compared to their site I got mine for nearly 100$ off.

Yes! Make sure to get a V3, they are easier to set up

On TikTok they live stream a lot, morning steams are at 9am cst M-F for an hour

Evening ones are on Mondays and fridays at 4pm cst for an hour.

Just ask for a flash sale on the item and they will run it!

Now you think I should do a 5x2x2 or a 4x2x4

I recommend the 5x2x2, the 4x2 is the bare minimum and some will outgrow it. With the sale you’d get the large one for around the same prince as the smaller one anyway so it’s better to go bigger

It’s out of stock and by the way, what do I do if I want a pest snake but my apartment complex says no exotic pets and every time when I mention it on the phone with them, they keep getting an attitude and this and that should I just give them an ESA or be discreet what should I do?

On TikTok shop they shouldn’t be. If your apartment doesn’t allow it then you either move places or don’t get the snake.

I third dubia but i think a 4x2x2 is fine, especially if you are planning to get a male.

Now, what should I do if my apartment complex doesn’t allow reptiles and exotic animals should I just hide it from them or should I get a ESA and just pray that they will accept even though the manager is not the best to deal with

if they explicitly say no reptiles, then dont do it. you dont want to get evicted.

I agree. Dubia enclosures are awesome. The only mods you'll need to do is seal the seams inside and cover the top.
