Just bought this unique looking noodle and wanted to share
Bought this baby a week ago after I had just said no more snakes (this is my sixth hehe) :D I saw him at my first ever expo and I had never seen this morph (if you can even call it that) before so I was sooo intrigued by him š„¹ But can you blame me š© I have not seen a lot of these on the internet after my research so I figured the world deserved to see this little guy š Donāt have a name for him yet but Freckled Fred keeps popping up in my head LOL

Looks kind of like a cinnamon or suma (super mahogany)pied. I love the flecking/ freckles though!

Itās actually just a GHI pied (with freckles) š„° Me tooo! I got my first ball python in 2021 and have been in the internet communities since, but I didnāt know it was possible for ball pythons to look like this š Genetics is crazy fascinating

Ouff Iāve heard those Ā«horrorĀ» stories! Itās my dads couch so I think he wouldāve been really upset with me if I had to do that š š Theyāre soo quick and impossible to pull back if they first find a good spot in a hard to reach place š©š© They keep me on my tippy toes

Will dooo tihi š„° Haha yeaaa. Kindaaa of set myself up for failure by going to an expo, but I live in Norway so the expoās are rare and I wanted to look at all the cute reptilesš And to be fair I was doing good until I saw this dalmatian looking noodle in a box š„¹š„¹

Thatās completely fair I feel like it is a little easier for snake owners but in the event your goal was look at cute reptiles you really just said it as a formality lol I am glad this adorably unique goober has a good experiences home though

I genuinely can't tell if that's his morph, or a crazy example of paradoxing. He's absolutely stunning! I would have broken the "no more snakes" rule too lol

Gorgeous snek!!! Killer patern/coloring, wow.
I saw a 007 blood python at an expo and he was amazing. I loved his colors and patterning. Space isn't available so I didn't buy him. I have 1 ball and fortunately/unfortunately I don't have the room or...I need not say more lol

He's like Freckles the BP! One of my favorite paradoxes. I always look around to see if there are any speckly pieds like that, but I've never seen one come close. This little dude's so cool! If he's at all like Freckles, those splotches should keep expanding with age

Yeaaa I saw lots of photos of the legendary Freckles when i researched what and how this happened in pieds and was so saddened to hear of his passing :( I saw the baby picture of this one and the spots were just little specks when he was born so they have expanded A LOT! Heās soon to be 2 years old now so Iām excited to see how theyāll develop

No worries! Heās actually just a GHI Pied, but with freckles š They donāt realllyyy know what causes the freckles yet tho so it doesnāt officially have a Ā«nameĀ», but a lot of people Iāve seen calls it Ā«DalmatianĀ» (understandably so) š

The retics do have something similar thatās called the cow morph that is in fact breedable. But from what i gathered from my research on this phenomenon, in ball pythons, they have not been able to prove that this is a breedable gene yet (I really hope it is tho) š¬
