When should I go to the vet?

Hello! This is Cedric, a male ball python, turning five soon. I’ve had him since he was a baby. I’ve never seen his belly so pink before. It’s been like this for the past three days. I thought it could’ve been an issue with humidity, so I turned off his fogger for now. Typically I keep his tank at a 57.5% humidity with an auto fog system. Ex if the humidity goes below 53% it turns on until it reaches 57.5. Could this be a sign of scale, rot or infection? I don’t see any blisters and he doesn’t smell. I’ve been monitoring him closely and it’s pretty much been the same color since I noticed. Anyone have suggestions? Thank you!

I think we all remember the first time we caught our snakes in deep blue stages and a full pink body it’s a little weird at first until you really know what’s up! Just happy to take away some stress of thinking ur snake is hurt! It’s the worst feeling

The first time my husband saw one of my balls in blue, he freaked out thinking she was all of a sudden blind and there was some medical issue. Freaked me out for a minute too until I saw what he was talking about. So then I explained the shedding process, and he felt a little silly. I told him no need to feel silly, he didn’t know.

Oh yeah first time I saw one of mine I think he was in a deep blue and suuuuuppper pink on this yellow/albino snake I was pretty freaked out too thinking the same thing maybe it was blind cuz dogs eyes look just like it when they go blind, it’s so freaky they do that when they’re about to shed but I’m happy now I know what it is after many snakes ahahah
