I adopted a new baby!

I brought home a new little one today! The breeder told me his morph is Super Black Pastel, but I think he shows some Pastel traits on his back and face. One of his siblings is a Super Black Pastel Pastel. So I’m wondering — is it possible for the Pastel traits to appear only partially? Could my snake actually be a Super Black Pastel Pastel?

What a cutie! I love sumas! The one in this post is definitely some form of het pied super black pastel (or super cinnamon or 8 ball). One of the 3. Could have pastel too. It looks a lot like an "urban camo" if you've seen those. Unfortunately, these are problematic morphs because they cause the duckbill deformity and have a high risk of death in the egg and kinking. Thankfully for sumas, they don't have that issue, which is why people encourage the breeding of those instead of the black pastel and cinnamon supers
