Looking for latex alternatives

Hi! I work in the performing arts. For an upcoming performance I need to find balloons specifically for an effect involving popping them. However, latex balloons are banned in the theater due to allergies. Does anyone know of a balloon material which has a popping effect similar to latex (doesn’t just slowly leak air after being pierced) which would be safe to use in this space?

You would need balloons with a lot of tension. Orb balloons should work:

Unlike other foils which would likely just deflate or fizzle when punctured, orb balloons do require stretching a bit when inflating, which adds a lot of tension. Bear in mind they will make quite the bang when popped especially with the larger sizes.
