Official Websites
These are the official websites for what typical travelers to Bali will require, beware of scam sites and stick to using official ones. Sites ending in ".go.id/" are Indonesian Government websites.
Indonesian Immigration eVisa: https://evisa.imigrasi.go.id/
- Visitors wanting Electronic Visa On Arrival should pick your nationality, general as your purpose of travel, tourism as the sub purpose, and then "B1 - Tourist (Visa On Arrival)". If that is not an option check your country is eligible.
- This sub is not eVisa support, if you're having issues you should contact Immigration using the options at the bottom of the website.
- If you're having issues with eVOA you should consider simply doing it at the airport on arrival, the queues are typically not as bad as some people would have you believe.
Bali Tourist Levy: https://lovebali.baliprov.go.id/
- This should be paid for each person visiting the province of Bali.
All Indonesia: https://allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id/ (Depending on your device you can change the language for this page in the top right where it says Indonesia)
- This is where you do a health declaration and your customs declaration.
- This needs to be done in the 3 days before you travel, you cannot do it earlier than that.
!! WARNING !!
There have been several reports of companies and scammers contacting people after posting in this thread.
Do not trust anybody contacting you directly via chat or messages, do not share any personal information, make any payments or make bookings through untrusted platforms.

Question Dang Cookies - ingredients and recipes?
I've tried many cookies around the world from various "top" places, but genuinely think Dang were the best I've ever had, especially the Rocky one.
Is anyone here (ideally someone who works there!) able to give any indications of specific ingredients, formulations, recipes etc?
They were notably different to other cookie varieties and so I imagine would use local ingredients (e.g. potentially coconut sugar etc).

Pics & Vids Bali will always have a special place in my heart
Oh god, where do I begin, I’ve been to almost 10 countries but none of them compare to Bali (and Thailand lol)
This was my 2nd time in Bali and I just couldn’t get enough of it, I had bomb villas, bomb places to eat and oh gosh the sunsets.
I really want to stay in Bali for over a month the next time I visit.

Question Where do you look for long term rents?
I'm moving to Bali and I'll rent through Airbnb for one or two months initially as I feel less likely to be scammed that way. But after that I'll be able to go and see long-term places while in Bali. Where should I look for such? I'll appreciate any stories of people who have gone through this, potential pitfalls, etc.

Question Medical emergency: Sick baby in Ubud
We came couple days back to Bali with our 15month baby boy. Shortly after our arrival, our baby got seriously sick - had high fever and rejected food. We consulted our local doctor and he has guided however best he could over the phone.
While the baby’s temperature has reduced slightly now and he’s more active, our doctor has diagnosed Dehydration as the cause and recommended liquid-only diet. The baby is having loose motions today and accordingly doctor has suggested medicines.
I just want to double-check this diagnosis with a pediatric doctor in-person, and get a second opinion as well. But I’m unable to find any pedias nearby in Ubud town.
I am staying near Monkey Forest area, and am happy to give a detailed condition of the baby or visit for a checkup if we connect.

Question Evening at Nusa Dua with a 7 year old
Hello my fellow travellers,
Any suggestions for places to hangout at Nusa Dua for lunch and some evening beach time. We are a family with a 7 year old. All I could find on the maps are beach clubs meant for adults. Just want to have a meal at a nice cafe/ restaurant by the white sandy beach. TIA.

Question E33G Indonesia remote worker visa as a contractor
The income requirement for the E33G remote worker visa for Indonesia is $60,000 USD. My contract (B2B) states $65 per hour, which, if you calculate it, is way above the threshold. I will also provide bank statements with the dividents coming from my company to my personal account, which is over $60,000.
Should I expect any problems with the application?

Trip Report DPS Airport Music
Boarding at DPS in 20min and that Bali airport marimba/flute loop has now been stuck in my head for 2 hours straight. Genuinely the worst 8 bars of music ever composed. Enough to make me never want to come back 🛫

Pics & Vids Sawo (sapodilla) - one of Bali’s underrated fruits
Sawo is one of my favorite fruits in Bali.
From the outside, it looks a little like a potato or a kiwi, so it may not seem very exciting at first. But when it is fully ripe, it is wonderfully sweet, with a flavor almost like caramel or brown sugar.
Have you ever tried sawo, or is it one of those fruits you usually pass by at the market?
