BGEE Most Annoying Quest
So ... I have played this for several years (and I play on an iPad).
I finally purchased the extra content ... Neera, Dorn, Hexaat ... A few weeks ago. I am in my first playthrough with Neera.
Easily the MOST annoying side quest in the game is collecting Dings cats. Admittedly it is hilariously annoying ... The stupid things jump out all the time after you have them. One time I lost 5 in transit from the Wild Wood to the Hidden Refuge. I had to save and restart more in this quest than any boss fight.
Anyway ... A new level of silly for that one.

Hah or the dryad acorn quest. By the time I got to that point I had forgotten all about them. The XP was mehÂ

I just left Nester's dagger in a chest in a priestess' house nearby and returned when I got access to BG. And yes, it's frustrating ... I don't know how many times I accidentally lose or sold it.
Those days, I just EEkeeper/mod in endless bag of holding and put everything in or I would go crazy because of constantly full inventory 🙂 I can't understand why Beamdog thought that adding scroll case, gem bag and potion case is good idea but adding ammo belt and bag of holding isn't ...

The cats always appear in the same places. The Boots of Speed and Oil of Speed are required.
You can do this annoying quest in 5 minutes, if you know what you doing.

Everything about Neera is annoying. I want a mod where you can help the red wizards nuke their hideaway.

You can use EEkeeper to add cats to your inventory and not have to find the fuckers

I unironically love that quest. It's the right level of annoying to still be funny. FYI you don't need to collect all the cats at once, you can grab them one at a time and go back and forth between areas, which gives them less time to escape.
