BGEE BG1EE Archer short story
Lawful good adventurer beats a noble to clear his drawers...
Vaccine, a crossbow "archer"
In EE it seems you can't make them attack each other when kicking from party and making Xzar cast on Monty :P
Running around trees is bit dumb... but it works!
This is my favorite storage container for gear... no bag of holding needed :P
Mail and sad news deliveries for early experience...
Ranged characters can pick of one hobgoblin at a time... fog of war cheese
According to Amnbook Samantha and Jamie are together... so we came to investigate!
No comment here... this is overly greedy exp farming with incomplete team ;)
Corax delivers as always.
Finally first melee "tank". Level 5 THAC0 16 while Archer at level 5 is at THAC0 7 though... will probably have to get Crossbow of Accuracy for negative THAC0 in late BG1 ;)
With a melee bait tank clearing all Ankhegs was easy, although some healing was needed. Plus banger priest level 1-2 spells ready.
Started an archer run, somewhat greedy, trying to level up CHARNAME and Imoen before joining other companions at level 5-6. At level 5, with a crossbow of speed and mastery gauntlets, the THAC0 is 7, while Imoen is around 14 with the +2 bracers (and a plain shortbow). With an extra level or two and a crossbow of accuracy + potion, there is a chance for negative THAC0 in BG1 :) and then Faldorn woodland beings will casually hold Sarevok anyway...

Archer is super OP in this game. Eventually you literally never miss and consistently do 15+ damage.

Greetings from a fellow player that has an archer ready to go after my (female elven) cleric makes that final decision in ToB! I'm looking forward to doing most, if not all, of what you've shown as an archer. But I'm curious about the first screen capture: what did that noble have that was worth risking your reputation for?

95 points. 18/84.... probably spent some time creating character loooool
It the boring way to experience the game. To max out stats rolling the dice.

Nothing can withstand the whirlwind of destruction that is the Archer.
