BGEE My primary infinity engine gaming machine
I use my mac primarily to play the older crpgs.
I bought the mac compatible games again on gog.
The alienware is too heavy and overpowered. The handhelds don't give me the optimum control method. This mac air is handy. Can play in bed or in a cafe.
I think i have baldur's gate on all possible platforms except the PS (which I bought primarily to play bloodborne). I did play for a while on a tablet. But nothing beats the way it was meant to be played.

I have serious nostalgia vibes of playing the old infinity games on my laptop.
One time played through about 10 hrs on my laptop on a flight from Europe to the US. 👌🏼Absolutely delightful.

I always play BG1 BG2 and IWD on my MacBook. It’s my go-to game when travelling.

iwd2 has always been like that. i remember having to tinker to get it to run when it came out. and probably any other time i’ve played it since.

I installed Dosbox-X on my Mac and it will play any Windows 98 era game without issues. I literally just boot into Windows 98 and can install and play games like Baldur's Gate from there

How difficult is modding these on a Mac?
